If you ever questioned how your food got from the field to your table here is some really shocking and disburbing information. For example, you may not know that much of Canada's produce, such as tomatoes, avocado, mango, pineapple, coconut, banana and chili finds it's way to Canada by truck.
I urge you to take the time to read some of the resources below to help you understand how food production in North America, and worldwide, has been transformed, and why large corporate farms continue to slowly but surely put the squeeze on small and medium-sized family farms. I'm sure it will be a real eye opener for you. I encourage you to educate yourself as to why it's good for all of us to support our local producers.
